Hace unas semanas pusimos a prueba a Cayman Airways por primera vez, viajando de Roatan con destino a la ciudad de Miami, Florida. Esta vez viajamos por segunda vez de Miami, Florida con destino a la ciudad de Roatan, Islas de la Bahía. Para nuestro vuelo viajamos con 2 maletas de menos de 55 lbs cada una, lo permitido por la aerolínea. Aunque en sí son practicamente 3 maletas las que se permiten si contamos con llevar otra maleta pequeña permitida dentro del vuelo.
Nuestro viaje salió el Jueves 17 de Agosto a las 5:20 pm hora de Miami. Nuestro vuelo duró 1 hora y 30 minutos arribando a la ciudad de Grand Caimán, Islas Caimán a las 5:50 pm.
A few weeks ago we put Cayman Airways to the test for the first time, traveling from Roatan to the city of Miami, Florida. This time we travel for the second time from Miami, Florida to the city of Roatan, Bay Islands. For our flight we traveled with 2 suitcases under 55 lbs each, which is what is permitted by the airline. However, they are basically 3 permitted suitcases if we count on taking a small carry-on suitcase to take in-flight with us.
Our flight left on Thursday 17th of August at 5:20 pm Miami time. Our flight lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes arriving to the city of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands at 5:50 pm.
En cuanto llegamos a Gran Caimán, se abordó el siguiente avión el cual salió justo a tiempo, no hubo tiempo de espera durante la escala. El vuelo duró 1 hora y 10 minutos, los cuales a este punto ya se sintieron correr más rápido. Aterrizamos en la isla de Roatan, Honduras justo a las 7:00 pm hora de Honduras.
As soon as we arrived to Grand Cayman the next plane was boarded, which left just in time, there was to waiting time during our layover. The flight lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes, which at this point felt like they went by even faster. We landed in the island of Roatan, Honduras right at 7:00 pm Honduras time.
Lo bueno de salir tan tarde es que Cayman Airways es el último vuelo que recibe el aeropuerto internacional de Roatan, lo cual significa que las filas en migración son cortas. Al igual que recoger tus maletas es aun mas rapido.
The good thing about leaving so late is that Cayman Airways is the last flight the international airport of Roatan receives, which means that the lines at migration are short. Just like picking up your suitcases is even faster.
