Connie Li, Caribbean Honduras
Connie Li is a young woman currently backpacking through Central and South America, who has completely fallen in love with the island of Utila. Originally from Brisbane, Australia; Connie plans on traveling the rest of the world.
Connie Li es una joven mujer mochileando por Centro y Sudamerica quien se ha enamorado completamente de la isla de Utila. Originalmente de Brisbane, Australia; Connie planea en viajar por el resto del mundo.
Initially Connie came to Utila to scuba dive and get her PADI open water certification which consists of three main phases: Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving, Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills and Open Water Dives to put those skills to use. After completing the beginners course Connie has become passionate about free diving as well.
Inicialmente, Connie vino a Utila para practicar buceo y conseguir su certificado de buceo en mar abierto PADI, el cual consiste en tres fases importantes: Desarrollo de Conocimiento para entender lso principios basicos del buceo, Buceo de Mar Confinado para aprender las habilidades basicas del buceo y El Buceo de Mar Abierto para poner esas habilidades en practica. Despues de completar el curso para principiantes, Connie se ha vuelto apasionada por el buceo libre tambien.
Connie has been in Caribbean Honduras for a whole month now and says "Time has flown so fast on the lovely island of Utila. I will likely stay until my VISA runs out haha". She has already visisted a few islands from Hog Islands or as known in Spanish, Cayos Cochinos as well as the famous Water Cay in Utila during her stay in the Bay Islands.
Connie ya ha estado en el Caribe Hondureno un mes entero y nos dice "El tiempo ha volado tan rapido en la bella isla de Utila. Probablemente estare aqui hasta que se me acabe la VISA jaja". Ella ya ha visistado un par de las islas de Cayos Cochinos al igual que el famoso Water Cay en Utila durante su estadia en las Islas de la Bahia.
Even though she had already been diving in the Philippines she loves diving in Utila as well and even got Certified at Parrots Dive Shop. Connie will absolutely be coming back to the Bay Islands, saying "I love the Caribbean vibe! The people are so happy and always say hi to me on the street and the friends I have here really take care of me. Also, Island English is like another language and I find it so fascinating".
Aunque ya ha buceado antes en las Filipinas, ella ama bucear en Utila tambien e inclusive se certifico en Parrots Dive Shop. Connie absolutamente estara regresando a las Islas de la Bahia y nos dice "Yo amo la vibra del Caribe! La gente estan alegre y siempre me saludan en la calle, los amigos que tengo aqui en realidad me cuidan mucho. Tambien el Ingles Isleno es como otra lengua y la encuentro tan fascinante".
Connie traveled to the island of Utila on a budget, she assures Honduras is pretty easy to travel on one, having diving to be the biggest expense out of all when coming to the islands. The local buses in the mainland are very cheap and their routes allow you to reach your destination for less. "What would you say to people who have not yet traveled to the Bay Islands?" -Caribbean Honduras. "It's a bucket list item. Come, you will not be disappointed" -Connie Li.
Connie viajo a la isla de Utila en un bajo presupuesto, ella asegura que es facil viajar a Honduras con uno y el uno gasto alto que hay para llegar a las islas es nada mas que el buceo. Los buses locales en tierra firme son muy baratos y sus rutas permiten llegar a tu destino por mucho menos. "Que le dirias a las personas que no hay viajado a las Islas de la Bahia?" -Caribbean Honduras. "Es algo que poner en tu lista de cosas pro hacer en la vida. Ven, no te decepcionaras" -Connie Li.
