WILSON BROOKS. A CARIBBEAN GENIUS | UN GENIO DEL CARIBE

Mr. Wilson Brooks, is a native islander. Born and raised in the Caribbean island of Roatan, Wilson has always liked inventing things. As people used to do before there was technology, always finding a solution to a problem, creating things that one may find fun as well as useful. Not  only is he an inventor but he is also a soccer teacher to many under privileged children from the east side of the island, Diamond Rock. He travels around an hour in his scooter every weekend to visit these kids and bring some joy by teaching them the wonderful sport.

El Sr. Wilson Brooks es un isleño nativo. Nacido y criado en la isla del caribe, Roatan, Wilson siempre ha tenido aprecio por inventar cosas. Asi como la hacia la gente en los tiempos antes de la tecnologia, siempre buscando la solucion a un problema, creando cosas que a uno le parezcan divertidas al igual que utiles. No solamente es el un inventor, pero tambien es un maestro de clases de futbol para niños menos privilegiados del lado este de la isla, llamdo Diamond Rock. El viaja alrededor de una hora cada fin de semana en su moto a visitar estos niños y traerles alegria, enseñandoles el maravilloso deporte. 

However, after finding himself with a ruined scooter; Mr. Wilson decided that because of the joy that playing with him brought to these children he had to do something about his situation. And trusting in his capability and creation skills he decided to venture in a new project.

Aunque luego de encontrarse con problemas en su moto, el Sr. Wilson ha decidido que por la alegria que jugar con el le causa a estos niños, el debe hacer algo con respecto a su situacion. Y confiando en su capacidad y habilidades para crear, ha decidido aventurar en un nuevo proyecto.

His games are retailed at $225 and sell as quick as he shows you how to play them. These games are two sided game combinations. Their board usually have a game on one side and another game on the reverse side of it as well. 

Sus juegos se venden en $225 y se venden asi de rapido como el muestra como se juegan. Estos juegos son combinaciones de dos lados. El tablero usualmente tiene un juego en un lado y otro juego en el lado reverso de el tambien.

This game consists of slightly hitting a small marble with a thin paddle inside each number case without it falling out of the white area. Each number represents the amount of points you earn per marble won. Whoever has the most points wins at the end of the game. This precise game is made for two players, one on each extreme. The 40 and the 50 are the hardest to get in, therefore they cost the most points. The above game is called 'Together Again' because Mr. Wilson says that those who play it come together and have much fun with eachother. It is a prototype of the game, and would look much more polished once the final product is done for the hotels. 

Este juego consiste en delicadamente pegarle a un maule pequeño con una paleta delgada y meterlo en cada espacio del numero sin que se salga del area blanca. Cad numero representa la cantidad de puntos que se va ganando por cada maule ganado. Quien tenga mas puntos al final del juego gana. Este juego precisamente esta hecho para dos jugadores, uno en cada extremo. Los 40 y 50 son los mas dificiles de meter, por lo que cuestan mas puntos. El Juego anterior se llama 'Together Again' Juntos de Nuevo, ya que el Sr. Wilson dice que quienes lo juegan se divierten mucho juntos. Es un prototipo del juego, y se vera mucho mas pulido cuando se trata del producto final para los hoteles.

These games were played by the employees of Paradise Beach Hotel and Caribbean Honduras and it is safe to say that the games are so much more fun than they look. There are many other games he has done as well like these that are selling quickly due to entertaining masses of tourists, students, hotel guests and even locals.

Estos juegos los jugaron los empleados de Paradise Beach Hotel y Caribbean Honduras en el hotel y cabe decir que en realidad es muchisimo mas divertido de lo que se ve. Hay muchos otros juegos mas que ha hecho como estos que se estan vendiendo rapidamente ya que entretienen a masas de turistas, estudiantes, huespedes de hoteles y hasta locales.
