Connie Li, Caribbean Honduras

Connie Li is a young woman currently backpacking through Central and South America, who has completely fallen in love with the island of Utila. Originally from Brisbane, Australia; Connie plans on traveling the rest of the world.  Connie Li es una joven mujer mochileando por Centro y Sudamerica quien se ha enamorado completamente de la isla de Utila. Originalmente de Brisbane, Australia; Connie planea en viajar por el resto del mundo.  Initially Connie came to Utila to scuba dive and get her PADI open water certification which consists of three main phases:  Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving,  Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills and  Open Water Dives to put those skills to use. ROATAN'S NEW TOP 3 PLACES TO VISIT

The Buccaneer, French Harbour

Everything about this place is beautiful. With a little over 45 years, The Buccaneer recently reopened and reinvented itself with a concept with much more life. Its halls are beautifully decorated with flowers hanging from the ceilings. Its natural pool is formed by the sea itself. The best karaoke nights are held here. This new place has been the setting for beautiful weddings, photoshoots, fashion shows and exhibitions. 

Its hanging hammocks over the sea are one of its best and most relaxing attractions. 

Sol y Mar Beach Club, Sandy Bay


This beach club is soon to be the highest ranked in the Bay Islands once it opens to locals, as of now it only works with cruiseship tourists. It is basically a playground for adults, as it has two different themed bars, a restaurant and an activity center that offers all kind of watersports from traditional snorkeling and motor snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, parasailing, mangrove and buggy tours. 


It's best sold activity is its buggy tour by RoatanX which takes you to Roatan's most picturesque sceneries. 


You will forget about time while you enjoy Sol y Mar's famous massages. The food, is something you will want to come back for as well. Not only that, but in the next week this amazing place will open a Deli and a Gelato place. It is also currently open for events of all kinds as well. 


The Beach Club, Palm Beach

A definite caribbean jewel. This beach club is its own private beach were no street vendors or other people will bother you. All you will see as far as you go is the beach, nature, the sea and all its water sports. 


Snorkeling in this paradise will allow you to appreciate the wonderful coral reef Honduras has, its colourful life and amazing sea creatures. 


The best reviews on this place other than the view is the horseback riding activity, one of the most enjoyable activities on water.
